Jennifer Lindstrom, MD

Dr. Jennifer Lindstrom currently works in outpatient medicine and teaches residents at Albany Medical College in the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Department. She specializes in Clinical Nutrition where she sees patients, teaches and oversees the protocols for patient care in AMC’s obesity management program (which includes both medical and bariatric surgery options).

Dr. Lindstrom’s passions include teaching, education and advocacy. She has participated in international medical missions to the Dominican Republic since 2003 where she was involved in trip planning, medical protocols review, and supervising pre- and post-operative care for patients with cleft lips/palates and burns. In the USA, Dr. Lindstrom has worked with the underserved population in Albany, NY.

In May of 2012 she went to Engeye for three weeks with Dr. Paul Sorum (also of AMC). While there, she had the opportunity to work with Dr. Kathy Chang and Joe Freeman. Dr. Lindstrom joined the Engeye Board of Directors in late 2013 and moved into the position of Vice President of Health, chairing the Medical and Health Committee until 2017.
